WebBook II gets a little entrapped in its own mythos. The scenes with Ashlen and Bent get so redundant and boring. Book II also leans a little too hard on the romance and it becomes more soap opera than anything else. Book I had a better balance of everything. If you like North and South check out the Sharpe series.
